Worship Service
Our 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service of Holy Eucharist is held in the church and also broadcast live to our website (saintbartholomew’s.org) and recorded on our YouTube channel.
Concurrent with our worship service, from September to May, children are invited to attend our Sunday school. Coffee hour is held in the undercroft after the service. No RSVP is required.
There is a wheelchair-capable elevator on the south (right) side of the church near the front. Handicap parking is available on both sides of the church building. Our restrooms are not wheel-chair accessible. If you have questions, please call the church office at: 301-355-7189.
FELLOWSHIP COFFEE HOUR
After our 11:00 a.m. Sunday service parishioners, visitors, and friends gather in the undercroft for coffee, snacks, and fellowship. This is a great time to get to know the people we worship with, share ideas, and have fun talking together. Whether you are new to the parish or have been coming for years, be sure to stop by after the service.
USHERS AND GREETERS
The role of usher, which includes greeting parishioners and visitors is a crucial part of worship. The usher will greet you and guide you into the church.
Lay Eucharistic ministers
Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist the celebrant at Sunday morning worship.
Lectors
The lectors are members of the congregation who are assigned to read the lessons and psalms at worship services.
VIRTUAL PARISHIONER
We welcome visitors and parishioners to join us online at the 11:00 service. Scroll down for service streams. Recordings are available for on-demand viewing beginning Sunday afternoon (for morning services) on our website. All service live streams are simulcasted to our Facebook page.
Recordings of previous worship services are also available.
