No matter what season your life is in, you are welcome here at St. Bartholomew’s
21611 Laytonsville Rd, Laytonsville MD | Sundays @ 10:30am Live StreamOur Mission & Vision
To proclaim and celebrate the power of the Holy Spirit within our diverse community.
With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and leadership of our Rector, we will continually grow as individuals and community in the knowledge and love of the Lord.
Deeply Rooted Community
St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church is a local church that is deeply rooted in this community, having been here for over 200 years.

Family Friendly
For families with children, we have a rich Sunday School that explores current topics such as bullying, friendships, and family, all within the context of the love of Jesus for each of us. For tweens and teens, we join with three other Northern Montgomery County Episcopal churches in a regional Youth Group. This collaboration allows our young adults to participate in a wide range of outreach and justice seeking community service projects and fun-filled trips.
Bible Study
St Bartholomew’s group Bible Study is held every Thursday at 10.30 am. We are currently meeting by Zoom. You are warmly welcome to join us for any session. More information can be obtained from Richard Rutherford at richard.rutherford90@gmail.com.
Book Club
The Tuesday afternoon Book Group led by Reverend Jo-Ann meets in the rectory from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. each week. The group’s new book is “Dusk, Dark, Dawn: On Revival and Courage” by Anne Lamott. For additional information, contact Rev. Jo-Ann.
