Every time anyone orders from Amazon it is possible to designate a charity to receive the proceeds from each purchase.  Designate St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, Laytonsville as the recipient of these proceeds. It is through Amazon Smile; anyone can designate St. Bartholomew’s as the preferred charity.  You can also use the Amazon link here on this webpage. Pass this information to family and friends! ****************************************************************

Our next Regathering Eucharist Service will take place in our Memorial Labyrinth Garden on Sunday, Oct. 4th, at 10:30 A.M.  If you would like to attend, we request that you respond by this coming Wednesday (September 30th).  Please respond by email to stbartschurch2@verizon.net, to reserve seats letting us know the number of people attending and sitting together in your household. If there is information we should take into consideration, when completing the seating plan, please provide that information. An example is that some walkers have built in chairs.  As noted, this will be a service with Eucharist.  A bag with the bread will be placed on your seat. The bags are prepared, on Thursday, by our volunteers wearing masks and gloves, making it very safe. If for any reason you cannot email to reserve a seat(s), please call Nancy Row at 301-674-2918 by Wednesday to reserve seating. On Friday, Oct 2nd you will receive an email confirming your attendance with a seating plan reflecting the location of your reserved seat(s).  Special instructions on how to easily enter the garden, along with the weekly bulletin and other information on what to expect during the service, will be included.

A message from Dawn Dennison Aurora has been chosen as the teen honoree for the Arthritis foundation chapter of New Jersey, as that is where she attended a virtual summer camp. Here is her fundraising page where people can either just donate or sign up and walk virtually as a part of our team, lead by Aurora.  I am including the link to her page and to the page where they announce her as the Teen Honoree.  Thank you as always for all of your support.
