Memorial Garden:
Memorial Garden with Labyrinth Update:  We are happy to report that we are making great progress on the memorial garden with labyrinth!  We have contracts/orders in place for all garden components as follows:
  • The construction has begun on the Memorial Garden and Labyrinth. Come and see the progress.
  • Garden benches ordered, received and being safely stored in the Fitts garage until installation.  They are beautiful!
  • Labyrinth kit fabrication has been completed (with beautiful cross center addition) and was ready for shipment on March 23rd.  We have elected to delay delivery until the first week of April (after Holy Week).
  • Tree-of-Life Sculpture has been ordered, leaf engravings are being collected for a planned March 30th submission to engraver. Expect to receive sculpture with engraved leaves by mid April.
  • Wall design in place, stone mason selected with plan for mid to late April start date.
  • Due to the very generous pricing and free installation from Stadler’s Nursery, we will be able to plant all 22 trees within our garden to be complete from the very beginning!!  Our trees will be planted in April.
April will be a very busy month for our garden/labyrinth work.  We are still targeting (weather dependent) a late April early May completion if all goes well.
